Raised in a controlled pasture environment and processed at home, the broilers of Petrichor Farm enjoy the best of life while growing to butcher weight. They roam a large wooded area, exhibiting natural chicken behavior and diet supplementation in the form of grass, seeds, and bugs. They have constant access to shade and clean water, and regular feedings ensure they grow at a rate that is healthy for them while providing adequate weight gain.
Most birds dress to 4+ pounds. Price is $6 per pound, with final cost determined by dressed weight. Your $10 deposit (payable here) is subtracted from the the full price which is due upon pick-up. You’ll receive an email with the exact butcher date and options to set up an on-farm pick-up or schedule a meet-up at the Moore Farm Market.
Chickens currently available were harvested in October of 2024.
